 Somaliland Climate Action Initiative in partnership with Somali green peace association have held seventh day training on Nature based solutions in the University of Hargeisa. Objective of the training The objective of the training was to 1. Train 20 students on how climate change is impacting and how nature based solutions could be used as effective tools for handling this. 2. Provide nature based solutions to prevent desertification in by planting the right trees at the right places in the right time. 3. Students and youth to join forces in addressing the environmental and climatic shocks in Somaliland. 4. To plant trees at the end of the training to show practical ways of doing nature based activities. Outcomes 1. 20 students were trained in doing nature based solutions 2. The University has encouraged more such training to be provided to the students. 3. More young students from fuculty environment of university of hargeisa have joined our initiatives. 4.

Climate change is one of the most complex problems facing us today is a problem that arises from human activities until human beings knows and be ready to fight it or prevent it however we will never find a solutions because we are problemmakers,    The things we do that cause climate change such as global ocean pollution, deforestation, global warming, and air pollution.  Every problem has a solution, be prepared to make a difference then the solution is calling,   We can change a lot even if it is necessary. The effect of the crisis are many, some are adaptable and some are difficult and catastrophic for the whole world, but now until we are ready to reduce or prevent them we can't make anything.  At the same time, we are in a very difficult time and the current restrictions are due to climate change, but together  we become a good fighters.  In order to cope with it, we need to altering our behavior systems in some cases ways of life's to protect our economies families and

Locusts🦗 Climate change is damaging environmental and food in insignificant ways . Most somalis are dependent on agricultural land and they are people who produce crops and cultivate their land , so agricultural production is most important to the Somali community, Locusts affected small holder farmers and their families and their own surplus to survive between harvest and can cause food shortages and lead to hunger and extreme poverty because farmers don't have adequate storage facilities to protect their supplies against pests and weather. The majority of these hungry families live in remote areas where they widely depend on agricultural to survive hunger, affect people lives such as unhealthy pregnancies poor nutrition and healthy problems .
