 QURANIC SCHOOL AWARENESS ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL  PROTECTION  AND CLIMATE CHANGE IN ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE💚


ISLAM pays attention to the things that otherwise people don't pay attention  including how to treat  the environment, seas, atmosphere, and so on.

Our PROPHET #MOHAMMED (PEACE BE UPON HIM)  inspired us one thousand four hundred years ago and #ALLAH (SUBAHANA WATA ALA) forbidden  destroying the environment as HE Mentioned  in HIS #HOLY BOOK and ordered  the men to utilize natural resources in the best possible ways.

Planting trees is beneficial act,  that benefits many level of the ecosystem and helps to preserve  and care for the environment.

#ALLAH AND HIS PROPHET #MOHAMMED (PEACE BE UPON HIM) described in the following  QUR'AN VERSES AND HADITH.


( مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا، أَوْ #يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا، #فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَيْرٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ بَهِيمَةٌ، إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ #صَدَقَةٌ.

“There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift”. )

               (Sahih al-Bukhari)

( كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ #وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ إِلَى خَمْسَةِ أَمْدَادٍ.

“The Prophet s.a.w. would perform ablution with one mudd (half a kilogram of water) and would perform a ritual bath with one sa’ (two kilograms of water), up to five mudd (two and a half kilograms of water).”

            ( Muttafaqun ‘Alayh).

( #وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِى مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا #يَعْرِشُونَ. 

And your Lord inspired the bees: “Make ˹your˺ homes in the mountains, the trees, and in what people construct. )

( وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ مُّبَـٰرَكًۭا #فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ #جَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَحَبَّ  #ٱلْحَصِيدِ.

And We send down blessed rain from the sky, bringing forth gardens and grains for harvest. )


( وَٱبْتَغِ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْأَخِرَةَ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَأَحْسِن كَمَآ أَحْسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ وَلَا تَبْغِ #ٱلْفَسَادَ فِى #ٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّ #ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ #ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ .

But seek, with what God has given you, the Home of the Hereafter. And do not neglect your share of this world. And be charitable, as God is charitable to you. And do not work corruption on earth—God does not like the corruptors.”


 ( وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ #فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ #خَضِرًۭا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّۭا مُّتَرَاكِبًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخْلِ مِن طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌۭ دَانِيَةٌۭ وَجَنَّـٰتٍۢ مِّنْ  أَعْنَابٍۢ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًۭا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهٍ ۗ #ٱنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكُمْ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ. 

And He is the One Who sends down rain from the sky—causing all kinds of plants to grow—producing green stalks from which We bring forth clustered grain. And from palm trees come clusters of dates hanging within reach. ˹There are˺ also gardens of grapevines, olives, and pomegranates, similar ˹in shape˺ but dissimilar ˹in taste˺. Look at their fruit as it yields and ripens! Indeed, in these are signs for people who believe. ) 


based on this HADITHS AND QUR'AN  VERSES  we notice how the #ALLAH ( S.W.T ) and PROPHET #MOHAMMED (S.C.W) to encourage utilising natural resources carefully.

Somaliland Climate Action Initiative

 Somaliland Climate Action Initiative in partnership with Somali green peace association have held seventh day training on Nature based solutions in the University of Hargeisa. Objective of the training The objective of the training was to 1. Train 20 students on how climate change is impacting and how nature based solutions could be used as effective tools for handling this. 2. Provide nature based solutions to prevent desertification in by planting the right trees at the right places in the right time. 3. Students and youth to join forces in addressing the environmental and climatic shocks in Somaliland. 4. To plant trees at the end of the training to show practical ways of doing nature based activities. Outcomes 1. 20 students were trained in doing nature based solutions 2. The University has encouraged more such training to be provided to the students. 3. More young students from fuculty environment of university of hargeisa have joined our initiatives. 4.

Climate change is one of the most complex problems facing us today is a problem that arises from human activities until human beings knows and be ready to fight it or prevent it however we will never find a solutions because we are problemmakers,    The things we do that cause climate change such as global ocean pollution, deforestation, global warming, and air pollution.  Every problem has a solution, be prepared to make a difference then the solution is calling,   We can change a lot even if it is necessary. The effect of the crisis are many, some are adaptable and some are difficult and catastrophic for the whole world, but now until we are ready to reduce or prevent them we can't make anything.  At the same time, we are in a very difficult time and the current restrictions are due to climate change, but together  we become a good fighters.  In order to cope with it, we need to altering our behavior systems in some cases ways of life's to protect our economies families and
